We are a volunteer run community based non-profit library that is focused on sharing literature created by and for trans people.
Our books are 100% free to access and we encourage local authors to reach out so that we can share your works with the community!
We do not have a physical location at this time, but you can sometimes find us popping up at queer events in Southern Sask.
If you would like to check out or return a book when we are not at a market, we offer free pick up and delivery within Southern Saskatchewan.
You can check out our books at any time, see our 'Borrow' page for more details!
If you are not able to pick up the book in person at a market we are happy to try to work out an alternative delivery method!
This library is a project developed through 'Into the Streets', planning for this began in February of 2023.
The first pop-up was on September 2, 2023!
More info regarding 'Into the Streets' can be found at https://intothestreets.ca/
None at all! The library is completely free to access and we do not believe in late fees.
There are no formal 'checkout dates', we just check in with you every few months if there is someone waiting in line for the book you borrowed.
There are a number of things you can do to help support this library!
- Check out books from the library
- Tell all of your friends about us
- Follow us on instagram (@embrace.tranarchy)
- Donate books written by trans & queer authors! We have wish lists registered with both The Penny University (Regina) and Turning The Tide Bookstore (Saskatoon)
